To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf
- OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27-1)
Those areas beyond the inside line of white posts with black tops.
- STAKED OR GUARDED TREES
If a shrub or tree which is protected by a tree guard or is staked, interferes with a player's stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with Rule 24-2b(i).
- IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-2)
- STAKES
Other than those defining Out of Bounds are immovable obstructions.
- White with black tops "Out of Bounds".
- Red "Lateral Water Hazards".
- Yellow "Water Hazards".
- White "Ground Under Repair".
- FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
- DRAIN PITS (incl. COVERS or GRATINGS)
All drain pits are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. (No relief in water hazards and lateral water hazards - see Note 1 to Rule 24-2).
- Paths and formed access roadways are immovable obstructions.
- WHEEL RUTS
Through the green, wheel ruts made by a mower, tractor or motor vehicle may be treated as G.U.R.
- GARDEN BEDS
Unless marked G.U.R., play the ball as it lies.
- When taking relief as per Rule 25-1 from the G.U.R. which includes the greenkeeper's shed, the ball must be dropped in the appropriate Drop Zones provided on the left hand of the 4th and 8th fairways.
Note: The ball may be played as it lies.
- If the ball lies on the path at the rear of the 2nd green, relief may be taken as per Rule 25-1 in the Drop Zone provided.
- And any other Local Rules displayed on the board from time to time.
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES
Match play - Loss of hole
Stroke play - Two (2) strokes
